The author being Maisey Yates, was an added plus because I’ve read other books by her before and have enjoyed them.This book is only part one, which means there is more to the story. Honestly….I need more to decide whether or not I love it. Nothing really happens in part one, except for Addison becoming an intern to Logan. Towards the end we learn Logan has issues and needs Addison’s help, and that’s the end of the story.Will I read the next part? Yes, because I think Logan and Addison have potential to provide me with a great story.Overall, this was way too short for me to connect with the story and the characters.

Little did she know that she's about to get very personal with her billionaire boss!Review:Okay, I know this is a three part book, but I am a little confused. In this first installment we only meet Logan Black and Addison Treffen and there is no mention of the other men in the blurb. Soooo, I am guessing that we will meet them in later installments.Other than this, it is hard to write a review on this because it was so short and really is only an introduction to Logan and Addison's lives. What has happened to both of these individuals is intriguing and I was just getting wrapped up in them when the story ended. I have never read Ms. Yates before, but from the little I have read, I have enjoyed so far.I see that according to Amazon, all the installments will be released together on June 17th, I think I will wait until then.3Stars because there was just not enough to judge on.*Received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an fair and honest review*

By Michelle New Addison’s world shattered when the truth of the kind of man her father was. Being shunned was just one aspect of the suffering she had to endure. So when her brother gets her an internship with Logan Black, this is her chance to gain experience and escape.Logan Black was a playboy... but that all changed when he returned from the dead. Now back from years of being missing, Logan is riddled with anxiety and inability to return to the life he once lived.I admit this title was picked up for a single word. Billionaire. I wanted a steamy read that gave me this insecure heroine that was walking into the lion’s den of some wealthy CEO type. And although I got those things... it was in very short supply. This was very short. And I felt like I was tossed into the deep end right from the start. There was a lot of history on both characters that was tossed in, having to be brought up to speed quickly. I am not sure if this history is going to matter in the scheme of the story, but I wasn’t really a fan of the way the information was shared. This was a lot of telling and zero showing. Maybe the history won’t really matter in the story, and this just had to be put there for the set up... but it just felt like overload on information, complicated details that you had zero time to absorb.We start to get somewhere in the story, seeing a side of Logan that is a little more human and then it’s over. This first installment of this series read more like an extended prologue than a novella. This is one that I probably won’t seek out going forward although I was hoping that I’d get drawn in a little bit... but sadly that was not the case.
