0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Some tried and true YA tropes, but a very true to life take on super powered humans. By Amazon Customer I really liked this story a good bit. The EVOs are a cool group of people and I dig the different powers they have. I wish there was more of those powers, particularly in the first half of the book, but totally understand that if there had been the story wouldn't have worked! (So I guess I'm glad there wasn't more power usage, then?) I also felt like the relationship between... no spoilers... and... no spoilers... happened very fast and kinda came out of nowhere, but once it was there, I like them together. Anyway, it's an amazin' read on Amazon, y'all.

By oxymoronic_leader An amazingly written novel that drew me in with both an incredible writing style and captivating story line. I was so desperate to know more about the reason behind Roscoe's facility, what he had done to the TORO, and how Teddie would ultimately overcome it all. I'm ready for more and will definitely be moving onto the second one!

It's dark and gritty, telling the story of an underworld that we don't know exists. The author pulls it of superbly, setting the scene with skill and care. I will be reading her sequel.Thank you and well done.
