5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Scary, Disturbing, and Unique By Dawnzilla Since I prefer novels, it's not often I find a collection of short stories that I really enjoy. This is one of those collections.Although the author has made a name for himself in the extreme horror genre, I love it when he steps away and does something different every now and then. This collection features something for everyone, and although I won't bother outlining each story for you, I will reveal that my favorites were Plane Crazy and Road Rage, because the endings of these stories were brilliant and totally unexpected.This is very different from what Shaw usually writes, but because of that, it goes to show how talented he is. For 99 cents, you won't find a more varied and enjoyable selection of stories.

This collection highlights some of skills as he tries to terrify his fans.A Mother's Love- 5 out of 5 Stars:Heartbreaking psychological horror that could happen in real life. How far will a mother's love go?Plane Crazy- 5 out of 5 Stars:Kirsty and Dylan are going on vacation, but Kirsty has a fear of flying. This story kind of felt like it was going to be similar to some other stories I've read in the past, but when I got to the end, the thought that went through my head was, "Well, THAT was totally different and unexpected."The Last Will & Testament of Norman Fielding - 4 out of 5 StarsWell written, just a little predictable....well, somewhat anyway. Some I did not see coming.This story centers around greed during a reading of a will of a very wealthy man.Lost Love - 3 out of 5 StarsI'm not a fan of the story. It's just a little too far out there and the actions of the characters are a little unbelievable. It did keep my guessing at what was going on and the ending was horrific, but I just didn't feel normal people would act like Frankie and Shaun did.Road Rage - 5 out of 5 Stars:All Tina wants to do is get home. Another driver on the road might have other plans for her. Great story. Great way to end the collection.

By Donald Hunt A good rainy afternoon read, it is a mix of short stories, thatwill leave you looking at your neighbors with a different eye.*A Mothers Love.......That is not your son!! Your son is missing.*Plane Crazy...... Kristy is a 33 year old Mom, that has two weeksoff of work, and is going to fly to the Islands. The trouble is.....she isscared to death of flying.*Last Will And Testament Of Norman Fielding........Norman is worth 6 million,and upon hearing of his passing, all kinds of people show up for the reading ofNorman's Will. His brother, Fred, is most upset at all the freeloaders that haveshown up, and lets them all see his displeasure.*Lost Love.......An obsessed groupie/stalker, that is not an animal lover.*Road Rage.......Sometimes you come across an outraged driver, that is just amean person behind that wheel, and then there is that flat out crazy one. This is just a sample of the stories that are in the book, enjoy them, and watch outfor that odd ball that lives two houses down the street.........you know the one.
