2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. This story is adorable and delightful By Jean B This story is adorable and delightful! It's not only entertaining and clever, it also has a positive and encouraging message for children--especially kids who are shy. The story is well written by Dawn Aldrich, and the full page illustrations by Amy Rettinger are colorful and engaging. Kids will love this book and so will the adults who read it to them! A great book for the classroom or home library.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Well-written story, excellent message By Michelle S. Lazurek In a society where children often feel alone, isolated and worthless, this book captures that spirit in the character of Jenny May. Dawn Aldrich gives visibility not only to Jenny May but to all children who feel they are on the fringes of life and helps them not only find their voice, but use it to reinforce the beauty of the human spirit.
