By BlueLeila I received an ARC of this book and I can't stop tanking the author for this opportunity!I've known Jake and Lacey in the first trilogy(His gift) and I was very happy to read more about these two wonderful characters!I recognize myself in Lacey,in her insecurities,in her need to be reassured,and in the incapacity of controlling her lust and her body's reactions when she is with Jake!And Jake...he's talented(in so many fields ;-D ),and handsome,and sexy,and misterious and indecipherable,and domineering,but you can see a vulnerability deep down his wonderful,hypnotizing,green eyes and we begin to see even a softer,romantic side of him...and you can't help but fall in love with him!And the end of this book...ooohh you 'll find it very exciting and you'll not be able to wait to read the next book like me!So if you haven't already read the first trilogy I suggest you to begin ASAP with it and then continue to this new,amazing,fascinating trilogy!P.S. We don't have to forget that there are so many sexy,hot,pants-wetting scenes that you'll finish all flushed and excited!

We get the chance to visit them again as the two get settled into their relationship as a couple. Jake is busy with his company and Lacy is just trying to accept the reality of their true relationship.. She was having trouble feeling out of place and being a kept woman.. And the problem with that is? Well in her case, the girl from Iowa cornfields was having difficulty making the transition and feeling accepted by Jake's elite group of friends. Have no fear.. Lucas is around making his presence known. The guys; Lucas, Clint etcetera, were all okay with Lacy.. its that snooty woman who had a problem.. You know Bitchy Belle! Part 4 was good.. I guess we'll see in Book five why it's called His Ransom..

She is a beautiful BBW, but all she sees is a fat girl. She worries about Jake being surrounded by beautiful women and him flirting when he doesn't realize he is doing it. On top of that she is struggling with wanting to become a true artist in every sense of the word and feel like she can carry her own weight vs being taken care of all the time.The trust issue is the biggest issue right now.....and Jake is determined to help Lacey get past it......so he is taking her with him on his business trip to Paris........wonder what he has in store for his beautiful BBW........ends on a cliffhanger!This is an honest review for an ARC.....
