By maria alexander I was given this book for an honest review by A Kiss Down Under Book Blog.I was looking forward to reading this book, however, I was disappointed by it.It basically was a book about a sexual encounter between two total strangers.Daria Everest is 24 years old and has spent her adult life kissing 28 frogs - hoping that one of them will turn into her Prince Charming.Nik Alexandropoulos is 29 years old and is a workaholic billionaire who only likes things done HIS way.The two meet accidently meet on a beach and end up having a one night stand.I tried to like the characters of this novel, but they were very one dimensional in their descriptions and in their attitudes. They were both too perfect to be believeable.I understand that this was only a prelude to her next book, but after reading this one I can only hope that Marian intends to make the characters more realistic and develop them further.A disappointing two stars is all that I feel this book deserves.

I have to admit although Nik and Daria's name seemed familiar I forgot who they were.Their meeting was humorous and I liked how the book has that element since later it would get more serious.Since this was a prequel to their actual story it's obvious that there's going to be some heartache near the end of the book. I knew with Daria omitting the truth about her past and that one freaking incident would be her downfall with Nik. But Nik like all the other billionaires of Ms. Tee, despite feeling betrayed would still want their heroine.Daria, you just made two wrong choices which I'm now praying for you. The ending was just cruel. I wonder how their story will go in their actual book and I have to be emotionally ready knowing how Ms. Tee writes her books.I received an arc from the author in exchange for an honest review.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. wish I could love it, but... By mandymonkey82 Normally, I rave about Marian Tee's stories, but I couldn't get into this one. It was too small of a taste and really needed to be added to the story that's supposed to follow this. The tiny installments of stories so far apart is becoming disheartening, when maybe a whole book without the cliffhanger would be more appreciated.
