The best book of the series to date By Anna Brentwood This is a well written series of a family/town that focuses on three witchy sisters with unique powers and abilities that just keeps getting better and better. While I was hooked from the first book, I often felt like it teased with hints of romance and unfinished story lines however this one certainly delivers on almost every front. While there were some minor issues with typos and missing words, it all took a backseat to the desire to keep on reading. It's a hard book to put down and a fun ride! The characters are more fleshed out and likable, especially noteworthy are Michael and Armand's development ---the storyline just keeps luring you in and just makes you want more and more. Can't wait for the next one!
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Great Series! By Laura Collins This is a great series; this is the third book in the Daughters of Dark Root series by April Aasheim. These books do need to be read in order so you can understand what is happening. There are three sister witches who have unique powers. Maggie knows that she has been cursed and her life is in danger. She knows that her only chance of salvation is to reveal the memories kept within the crystal balls. If you are looking for a great book that will keep you up late reading then you need to read this book. I can’t wait until the next book in this series comes out.

I felt like I read a full book and not just an outline. The author is detailed and paints great pictures in my mind without going overboard. It has it all....mystery, romance and magick!!
