That is until her and Meeko’s paths cross… she’s exactly what Meeko feels he needs in his life but his fast paced, chaotic lifestyle isn’t what she wants or needs, which causes her to initially ignore all of his attempts to pursue her. After trying her best to deny and fight the chemistry that she and Meeko obviously have, Cookie finally falls victim to his southern charm. The two couldn’t be a more perfect match but when the town starts talking and word gets out that Cookie is the new lady in Meeko’s life, she will have to endure his ratchet baby mama and what seems like never ending drama in order to hold the title of ‘wifey’ and it won’t be easy. With everything and everyone against them, can love really conquer all?

I don't want to give anything away but from beginning to end there's so much drama but among the tha drama a hood love story is taking place.. I can't wait for the next part (she was so wrong for that ending).. Hopefully once all the dust settles Cookie and Meeko can come out on top.. I know you don't mind killing off characters so let's get rid of Kelsey and possibly Shy..

I will admit, as I told Ms. West, I dreaded purchasing the new version for a few new chapters. I even kept reading the posted reviews to see if anyone else purchased the first version and this one, so I could see if it was worth it. I've done this in the past for another author since I was a loyal fan only for it to be a waste. I also didnt want to read through the book again to find the new chapters. Well honey, ill make the post & say yes you should buy it. This was NOT a waste. I enjoyed the reread and the new purchase. I simply love Cookie and Meeko. LaTonya has a true gift. She brings her characters to life. This book has a dose of ghetto, ratchet and grit with sugar and spice on top. It's an easy, unpredictable read. You will literally have your mouth open from beginning to end. This book also shows the author's growth. Her books get better and better. I cannot wait for part 2. Please put a sneak peek up for us soon. Great job!

This is one love story that I was able to fall in love with because it's so down to Earth and captivating!!!! Aside from the hustlers having billions if dollars and being single living in mansions...Its refreshing to read!! I love hood love stories but this is actually one that's relatable. Meeko is flashy or nothing like that he's well rounded and laid back. In the beginning Legacy was pissing me off but she finally came around...thank the lawd....lol!!! Her bestie Sheeda is a piece of work but I love her lol...Her mom needs to either fall off the face of the earth or get it together...her dad...whom I'm assuming is gonna be the baby's dad to her boyfriend's 3yo...needs to get his life!!! Then this thottie Shy needs to go ahead and start her demise when she start on cocaine or whatever lol...and Kelsey?! I just gotta smh bc she is one crazy unstable ignorant bish!!!! Through all of this I hope my girl Cookie and Meeko come out on top!!! Ms. West this is the first book I've read if yours but I promise it won't be the last!!! Keep slaying that keyboard boo bc I'm waiting on part 2 lol!!!!
