As a child I suspected that there was more to life than I could conceive. I would lie on my back on a hill top or a grassy bank and stare at the sky.Night, day, it did not matter. I looked. Or was it just being unraveled? Restored? Made whole? Too often in our lives we think the bad things dictate the future. Yet some 25 years after embracing Him, I have seen His hand weave a marvelous tapestry of friends, family and faith through out my life. My life is an open book. My ministry often predicated not on my successes but my mistakes. Yet, I have found in the midst of pain, the middle of hurt, He was there. I do not look at my life as failure, but the life of one who did not "beat the odds" but engaged with the One who overcame death to allow me to live whole and love wide.

He is a man of great spiritual depth and walks in God's wisdom through various graces coupled with down-home experience. Anyone can relate to the raw emotions he displays as well as glean from his learnings and take-aways. He promotes the Lover of our souls as one who is not surprised by our circumstances but as one who is the all-seeing, all-knowing, ever present help in our time of need, who tirelessly pursues us with a relentless love. If you have not already picked up his latest book, "The Interrupted Process", I urge you to do so today, without delay. It will be an investment that will yield deep rewards each time you indulge in its richness and insight. You will be wealthier for adding it to your favorite reads as this book promises to be a classic that you will refer back to, time and time, again. You will also be challenged by the way you have viewed past and present interruptions, as this writing will bring encouragement and clarity to many questions that you have had concerning your own journey. Speaking from my own experience a few times there are incidents brought on by my own missteps. But in most instances things happen unexpectedly that can interrupt ones life. Reading Lee's book was eye opening. Sometimes the people with the biggest smile or the loudest laugh had to first over come much to be in that place to celebrate life. Knowing Lee personally I had no idea the amount of trials he had to face. But you wouldn't know it by looking at him. This book I give five stars, not because I know the author personally, but after I finished the book there was a weight that was lifted from me. In the book there are different accounts of how Lee's life was interrupted and rearranged and because of those experiences, the lessons he learned on looking at problems and even the grief process were able to be written and for someone like myself, grieving wasn't always easy. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has had a moment where life as they knew it, changed in an instant.

Then Jesus appears and interrupts his process, at which time he begins to surf the waves of life, sometimes kneeling, sometimes standing, sometimes in sunlight, sometimes in salt spray, but always looking to God. The Interr upted Process offers real-life examples and tools for learning how to embrace, and move with, our own interruptions, as well as how to repeatedly re-process for both earthly and spiritual growth--with God as both our life jacket and light house. Johndrow also teaches us that surrendering control and adopting obedience isn't easy, and that that process itself benefits from repeated divine interruptions.
