About the Author Author and speaker, Kendy Ward first garnered recognition as a winner of BET’s First Time Writer’s Competition when her short story, The Perfect Story, was published in the BET Books anthology All That and Then Some. Later her first non-fiction work was published in the inspirational and empowering compilation, No Glory without a Story. In 2012 she took her a writing career to another level when she authored her first self-published work, God-Esteem: Seeing the God in You. Her first full length work of fiction, Oh Romeo, Romeo, the first book in The Knight in Shining Armor series, will be released in late 2015. She was also a featured columnist for Essence Bahamas Online Magazine. As a Toastmasters International award winning speaker, Kendy has spoken throughout South Florida and the Bahamas on topics of faith, empowerment and self-improvement. She serves at Hope United in the children’s ministry, First Impressions ministry, intercessory/prayer ministry, Hope Groups curriculum writer, Hope Group host, and as president of the women’s ministry, Kingdom Women United. She graduated Cum Laude from Northwood University with a Bachelor’s in International Business and Management. She is currently a manager at a construction company, and is a member of the National Association of Black Women in Construction. She is the daughter of Kenneth and Trudy Ward, the sister of Denise Poitier and Quincy Ward, and the proud aunty of Zylen K. Ward and Zaire K. Poitier. The Realness of each character and the Truth of Gods Word that were so inspiring. It was so encouraging to read. As I read the book it also ministered to me on how the enemy's goal is to kill steal and destroy, but through prayer, believing and applying Gods word to your life it can turn your life around. You have GOT TO READ THIS BOOK!!Amazing job Kendy!! God is using you so powerfully. May He continue to bless and anoint you in every thing you put your hands to. I Can't Wait for the next book, February 2016.....Hurry!! lol

By Cool Jane Purchased this book yesterday, and literally could not put it down... a definite page turner and I cannot wait for the other book in 2016... What can I say, it is refreshing to read a book about a woman that is just like me... Great Job Miss Kendy! I'll be looking out for your books!
