You just need to know the very basics and you can find that on a wiki or hell even the recap page does a good job with that. If your interested in seeing all the potential Loki has here it is, the best Loki story ever. We get to see the gender fluid god be amazing and maybe even find a way to escape the fate of being evil. The writing is great and so is the art. So do yourself a favor and pick it up.

Loki's redemption journey ends with a Deus Ex Machina, contradicting the first issue's premise of "wishing everything better wouldn't make a good story". In fact, it doesn't. I felt cheated by this ending, worst I felt like I lost a good friend who turned into someone I can no longer recognize or root for.I appreciate the message it was trying the send, but I don't like the methods done to achieve it.Gorgeous art as always, don't I'm not a fan of the final design of our main character.
