3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. What you do for a child. By By Gladys Mills What a climax to this series. I am glad Conner stop running. This gives Skye and Willow a chance to be sisters again. I knew the mom wouldn't have a chance to win the girls back because she needed to grow up and learn to be responsible. I am glad Parker came to his senses and married his true love. This series could go on for another two books at least.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. The Best Yet By Judith Post I loved this book. For me, it's the best Karen Lenfestey has written yet, and I've liked all of them. Bethany grew a lot in this story. She flexed her muscles, and she's stronger than she thought she was. Parker has deepened, and I was happy to see him look further than his illness. But the truth is, I fell in love with the "new couple," Melodie and Connor (Kaylee's dad from the last novel). They were so perfect for each other, I had to keep turning pages to see what happened to them. I really liked Melodie, a widow trying to put her life back together and raise her daughter. She was spunky and funny and smart. And Connor is so dedicated to his daughter, Kaylee, and such a wonderful "bad" boy, what's not to like? This book had lots of twists and turns, and I enjoyed every one of them!
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. A great heart warming conclusion for this powerful series By Vanessa A. I'm so glad I read the entire series. I was hooked from book one "A weekend Getaway" and couldn't wait to read "Next Door Secrets". Each book compelled me to read the next and even with the conclusion of book three I still want to read more of Bethany and Parker's story as well as Conner Walker aka (Jim Stein) and Melodie's. In a way I'm grateful I didn't have to experience the complete decline of Parker's health and how it impacts Beth, Willow and Hannah. I much rather imagine them all living happily ever after with Parker and Beth finally tying the knot after living16 years with lives full of drama and secrets.I give the entire Secrets Series a 5 star rating. A must read. Enjoy!!
