Life takes an abrupt, new direction when the naïve Mac buys an old car and heads east alone for some unknown destination. He finds adventures, danger, humor, good times and loneliness.

About the Author The author was born in the small community of Grass Valley CA. in 1939. His birth family dates back to the 1860's in the gold mining town. After high school he left his home town and perused a career in civil engineering. He and his wife have been married more than 50 years and have always enjoyed family and life in general. He wrote his first book after the age of 60 and now in his 70's writes for the pure enjoyment of allowing his imagination to take his charters where they want to go.

By Lonnette Turner Liked because it was a refreshing story from a simpler time of life.I think it would appeal to an older generation who could relate.Four stars because you never knew where the next turn would take you.
