Deep and mysterious characters, thoughtful prose, and a fresh storyline kept my attention. I enjoyed the character development, the travels, and especially the surprises in the middle. Go along for the journey; you will not be disappointed.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Great book By Jr I downloaded this book because I was taking an airplane trip. What a great book to help the time go quickly. I found it to be a very unpredictable plot and it was very descriptive. Love the ending! Great book.

Lizana I RECEIVED A COPY OF THIS BOOK FROM THE AUTHOR IN EXCHANGE FOR A REVIEW.Touching Spirits: The Mayan Case is a good read with a paranormal plot that is unique. The story takes place in Central America and relies heavily on the mystique of the Mayan culture, specifically the premise that many Mayans (unknown to modern-day citizens) still exist in a "loose" network, ready to congregate when their foes attempt to loose evil on the world. There is plenty of action with strange, telepathic happenings, a death a minute and, of course, a hurricane, all interwoven with a love story in the most unexpected place.While this is a good read, I only gave it three stars because to get all five out of me, it has to be great literature, and it is not. It would be a lovely book for the obligatory light reading and entertainment classed as "summer reads", and I can picture myself on a cabin porch or beach (as you prefer) devouring this one in a day. It is entirely worth the cost, and is you are a fan of above-ordinary odd thrillers, this a book for you.
