Week, then do yourself a favor and grab this collection now!. You get all five books in one sweet deal. Meet the five McNeil brothers as they fight to not only protect their family, but the women they love. The twists and turns in the series keep you guessing and as usual, Nancy's villains send a chill down my spine. Your heart will ache for each brother and just when you think you can't take another moment of suspense and wondering how things could possibly end up right, Nancy gives you a satisfying happy-ever-after to make you want to cheer.Warning: Don't get attached to any one brother, because they just keep getting hotter as the series goes on!
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Excellent Romantic Suspense By Wordfrenzy I have just finished the fourth book in the “Shadows and Light” Series. I loved this book. In fact, I think I am in love with the whole McNeil family. These books deliver fast paced suspense, explosive action, surprising twists and a cast of intelligent, strong, independent characters.The McNeil men are archetypal warriors who will protect the people they either love or feel responsible for, to the death. The women they fall for are independent, intelligent women who seem to be embroiled in the darkest of situations with a fierce wilfulness that frustrates and endangers those around them. Nancy C Weeks is a brilliant romantic suspense/thriller author and none of her books disappoint.

By Ellen Parker Sampled this bundle with "In the Shadow of Pride"Lexie Trevena has enough stress being a single mother to her late husband’s illegitimate son. Two years after the funeral she’s minding her own business when Mac McNeil, FBI special agent, steps back into her life. A simple bank appointment turns into terrifying moments with Lexie as a hostage until she uses self-defense moves drilled into her during her marriage.I enjoyed the blend of action and romance in this story. A weapons capable drone is stolen from the developer and then launched from Lexie’s workstation. This solid base launches multiple situations including Mac’s family, Lexie’s loyal friends and forced close proximity between Lexie and the man she’d love to hate – but discovers much more of the former.I’ll be putting others in this series on my “to be read” stack.
