The War Between Good and Evil Is Almost at an End. Man Has this One Last Chance to Determine the Outcome. As we near the Second-Coming, the battle between good and evil intensifies. Sadly, the forces of evil are winning; mainly because too many Christians and the churches they attend are going along to get along. They’ll stand for God—as long as they can do so in silence. If their “faith” costs them anything, they want no part of it. The Bible warns us that we must know the enemy, but most of us are clueless. It’s so much easier to bury our heads in the sand and act like everything is okay—even though we know it’s not. Our Lord and Savior died in this world so we can experience life-everlasting. Put another way, God allowed His Son to be treated like we deserve to be treated so we could be treated like His Son. Why? Because He loves us. In John 15:13 it is stated, Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. And in return for Christ’s sacrifice, most of us remain mute. We’ve quietly let Him be kicked out of our places of business, our schools, our government (at all levels), our courts, and in some cases our churches and homes. And then when we need Him, we, in unmitigated hypocrisy, call for a National Day of Prayer (for example: immediately after 9/11). The spiritual war we’re facing is almost at an end. What we do, or don’t do, will determine the outcome. Jesus said it best in Matthew 12:30, He who is not with Me is against Me. That’s about as simple and direct as it can get. The spiritual war we all face is raging, and acting as if we’re a neutral nation in WWII is no longer an option. The choice is ours. We either stand with Christ or we become His enemy.

By Margaret Lukasik "The Plot To Kill God" By Edward Mrkvicka is a short but powerful book that leads its readers to examine their hearts concerning their Christian walk. Not long into the book one can't help but realize the need for Christian strength and boldness to overcome the progressive deterioration of Godly values in America, a country that was once a "nation Under God." However, I don't want to get off topic. The book is not about America, but about the watered-down Christianity that has created what the author calls a "get along to belong attitude." As an American, I can't deny that in the battle between good and evil it's a sad reality that evil seems to be winning. However, throughout the book I didn't feel a sense of fear, but empowerment. I felt a strong love from the author for Christians and all mankind. "The Plot To Kill God" intelligently warns Christians about the current condition of the "Church" and how to give it strength and power to overcome the changes that are taking away our freedoms to preserve Godly values. Experienced in the Word of God as a Christian author, lay minister and counselor, I believe Edward's purpose of the book is to enlighten and wake Christians up to the responsibility we have to go beyond the simplistic idea that God is only a "God of love." All this does is cause many to continue in sin with the idea that they will always be forgiven. While God is the creator and example of the purest form of love, Edward goes deeper into the character or essence of God. Without knowing every facet of God's nature, it's not possible to live the fullness of a Christian lifestyle! The Plot To Kill God is going to make a great impact for achieving victory over evil in America and throughout the world by causing many Christians to examine the strength of their Christian beliefs. It will also help many to fill in the gaps of complacency where they may exist in order to win unbelievers to Christ. I highly recommend The Plot To Kill God by Edward Mrkvicka as a book that is a "must read" for Christians as well as unbelievers. It's a life-changing experience that stirs the heart for change and reveals the need for strong Christian faith to win the battle against evil!

People that do not want to be be obedient to His will are trying to silence Christians and mold public opinion, and laws at times, so that the Truth cannot be spoken. Edward F. Mrkvicka, Jr. examines different facets of this movement, who is behind it, and why is has become so widespread in The Plot to Kill God.To be upfront, there are many people, including some Christians, that will not like what this book has to say. It is, at heart, a call for Christians to stand up and proclaim the Truth of Christ. For too long, we have remained silent and allowed our freedom of faith to be pushed around. With that said, we are not to be oppressive or bully others in sharing the gospel, but we should do so in love.Christians need to be aware of this plot to "kill" God so that they can be ready to defend their beliefs. We need to be ready for the persecution that Jesus told us would come so that we can be prepared to stand firm in our faith. The Plot to Kill God is an informative read, and a needed call to action. It is clearly written and easy to understand. It is not an attack on anyone, but a an eye opener to the way Christians should be living.I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for this review, but that in no way influenced my opinion.

It is a short book, just 120 pages, but I needed to read through it twice to really absorb and reflect on what he was sharing. The first thing I said after coming out of my reading spot, was directed to my Hubby... "You have to read this!". This really is a must read book for all Christians. When you read, from the first words, you feel the author is speaking with great passion and for our sake, not his. His goal isn't to push his beliefs down our throat, but to open our eyes to what is happening. This book will definitely stir emotions. It touches on many of the subjects our mothers warned us never to talk about in public. But it really is something that needs to be said. As Christians it is easy to try and just "keep the peace" instead of standing firm in our beliefs. But what is the cost? What price will be paid? When I first read the title, I really wondered what kind of book this was. Even my older daughter thought it was a blueprint on how to kill God, when she took my picture reading it and posted it on Twitter. But it isn't a blueprint, it is actually the reality of how we are killing God. How we are making Him cease to exist and what we can do to stop it! As Christians, how can we believe that the almighty and powerful God can cease to exist, but using an analogy, Dr. Mrkvicka makes it very clear. The book is filled with relevant bible passages, but no one Christian denomination is evident, it is really for ALL Christians. The book does take a surprising turn (at least surprising to me), when it goes down the path of politics, but by the end you see how it is completely relevant. Like I said, this book WILL stir emotions and create conversations. I can't imagine anyone reading this book and not walking away thinking, contemplating, or feeling strong emotions.I can't speak for the world, I can't even speak for my family, I can only speak for me. When I hear something, even if I know it is true, if my actions are the opposite, I get upset, I feel offended, but when I take time to think, I realize what was said wasn't offensive or meant to upset, it is simply me reacting to hearing the truth and realizing it is true, but that I have been acting a different way all along. I think that is how some will take this book. The first reaction will be anger or to feel offended, but then with prayer, thought, and reflection, this book will be a warning, a call to action, a guide to the direction we as Christians should take.
