Sei had been part of an assassin organization sent on jobs to alleviate problems that could not be solved in other ways. Living as a recluse she keeps few friends and is always on point for she knows the life she had chosen and now put aside puts her in the cross hairs of others. After a birth gone wrong, Sei has hung up her tools and moved on, yet knows that none of her competition will believe her.Having lost her daughter during childbirth she has moved on, yet always on the lookout for an assassins life is not their own. A phone call turns her life around in a complicated way. Requested for another assassin job she turns it down, but the caller knows about the secret of her lost child. However, this contact also has a story. Having been informed of her daughter’s death shortly after the birth, she is now hearing that the real occurrence was a kidnapping, and that she truly has a daughter being raised by others. The caller offers her information on the kidnapping but only in return for the job he is asking.With an anger fueled by duplicity and rage, Sei becomes once again a main player in the high stakes game of assignation but at the same time conducts her own investigations. Red herrings are littered throughout keeping you guessing as to the events.IF you enjoy mystery, action and fiery contenders you will enjoy this work. Sword play, hand to hand combat and danger are just a few of the features. The characters stay with you as you continue to mull over the stories long after the reading is complete. Hutchinson brings us an exciting new character to watch for.

There is a reason that I keep reading his work. From the Darby Stanfield series with the somewhat bumbling main character, through the Abbey Kane Chasing Chinatown trilogy, Ty continues to entertain me and cause me to miss hours of sleep.This book one of the trilogy, is a bit of a departure from his earlier writings. There is nothing bumbling about Sei.- she is Chinese but is nothing like Abbey Kane. Contract: Snatch is a suspenseful hard hitting and adventurous story of intrigue. I generally don't find female characters overpowering male characters that are larger and stronger. Ty has crafted Sei as a talented and improvisational character that depends on her skill as an assassin to take out the male she runs into.I found this book to be very well written and engrossing. It is well developed into an interesting and well founded storyline that progresses logically and with enough action and intrigue to keep the reader enthused and willing to read just one, or two, or .... more chapters before calling it a night. This is a first rate action story with great characters and writing. I enthusiastically recommend this book to all readers. I would be surprised if any serious reader did not fully enjoy this read.

By Jim McCarthy Jr. An exceptionally faced paced action thriller, "Contract: Snatch", features author Ty Hutchinson's crossover character from his "Abby Kane" series- Sei the Assassin. Sei is a contract killer who is currently on hiatus. Sei is the best in the world at what she does. If she takes on a contract the subject will be killed and no evidence of Sei will be found along with body. Taking some much needed time off with her best friend Long visiting, Sei gets the jolt of her life. Dark underworld broker "Tark" informs Sei that with fulfilling an outstanding contract he can help Sei locate her daughter. Sei is floored. As far as she knew her baby died in childbirth some two years ago. Sei is now enraged. Who could have perpetuated this unspeakable act upon Sei? Necessary evil must be dealt with and paid back. The job however is daunting. Breaking the infamous "Wolf" out of the most difficult of Turkish prisons. Sei takes on the contract. Things however do not seem as they appear. Soon Sei is dodging Turkish gangsters, and a maniacal prison warden. Complete with crazy shootouts on small boats racing through the ocean, this one is high octane action. The story was riveting. Took me only a couple of times sitting down to blaze right through book. As a big fan of author Ty Hutchinson I was pleased story and plot were top notch as I read. The amazing characters had plenty of life, and seemed bigger than life at times. Book I thought was reading very well, enjoying it a lot as I read. However, I was very let down by the ending. Ending really damaged the way I felt about the book. Easily was going to be another 5 star book for Hutchinson until ending. It just really turned me off. I'm only giving book 3 stars out of 5 possible. I do recommend the book for a good read throughout the book. Plenty of action and suspense. It's a good read. Check it out. Possibly most people won't feel the same about it's conclusion as I did.
