About the Author Denisia J. Hockley is an Australian Clinical Psychologist who spends much of her time in the United States. She works with everything from victims of trauma and abuse to everyday families struggling with typical life issues as well as those with psychiatric disorders. Her style is laidback informal, and solution-focused. An ex-policewoman, she has had a colorful and diverse career. As a therapist, she has worked in outback aboriginal settlements, men’s correctional facilities, addictions programs, and private practice. She first started writing at the request of clients; Your Child the Little Scientist is the first of a series of Little Books addressing every aspect of life, health, happiness, and mental well being.
