Pen I don't even know where to start just like the other 2 books before this one I'm falling deeper in love with each new installment to the series.Fossegrim starts where Nokken left off so make sure you've read the first 2 before starting this one. Lucy is stuck on a boat with Foss and Prince Jamie worried sick about Jens and the others as they head to Foss's homeland where they will wait to see if the others have survived the fight with the Nokkens that turned deadly, while destroying the portal.Nothing goes as planned and Lucy through a series of unfortunate events finds herself married to Foss so he can protect her.... What one would think of as a terrible twist of fate actually creates a bond between them. Through their mutual dislike they find themselves coming to a truce maybe even a precarious alliance. Foss is finally starting to see worth in Lucy, but danger is never far behind them, and when Lucy makes a decision that Foss will never forget he's forced to concede she isn't who he thought.Love will never be part of their bond but some heartbreaking and tender moments will have you tearing up and rethinking who Foss is.Through twists and turns soon they are on the run for their lives once again. As their perilous journey to save Undraland continues some of the misfits will lose their lives while others will be forced to soldier on and continue the fight against Pesta the siren.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. If you liked Undraland and Nokken By Sarah Shellard Mary Twomey does it again with Fossegrim, the 3rd book in her Undraland series. If you liked Undraland and Nokken, you're going to like Fossegrim, too! I really do enjoy Mary Twomey's fantastic writing, hot guys (double YAY), action, and smarts. Twomey writes with a very modern voice and tells an intriguing story with fun dialogue and interesting characters. Every book in the series is fun, deep, and addictive. They may be short books, but they really pack a punch and I can't wait to get a hold of the next one, Elvage! One should read the series in order, so, if you haven't, get a copy of Undraland. There is a lot of back story and Fossegrim is worth reading the first 2 books for!While the series will most likely appeal to girls 14 & up, the entire series really is worth a read by anyone, men, women, teens, and adults.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. I can't get enough of this series. By Amazon Customer I absolutely loved this book! I thought I was prepared for all the twists and turns this time. I wasn't. I started Fossegrim wanting badly to smack Foss. Then I wanted to hug him! Then I wanted to smack him again! I'm not sure how many mood swings I had while reading, but it was worth every one.Foss and all of the characters are devloped even more and tug you right in so you feel a part of Undraland. The wonder, awe, terror, angst, all the emotional spectrum can be found in Fossegrim.
