1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. I have certainly been bitten by "Grumpy Bug" by Jeffrey Roach By Scott Carrico This cute story brings attention to our moods and feelings. Most importantly it is an example of just how simple it is to discuss them with our children. It a lovely story about how a child (or parent) can negotiate through our moods in a colorful fun way. Jeffrey Roach puts daily emotions into a simple story that helps children express themselves in a creative way. The illustrations by M. Ilham Putera beautifully depict the characters and the imagination of a young boy. My son loved the story and now we have many "bugs" that creep in and out of our days and we laugh and work through them together. Thank you Jeffrey for a delightful addition to the Amazon Library.

Last night, I read GrumpyBug to my sons, ages four and eight, and they were engaged and entertained throughout the book. They tried to convince me that the TickleBug could get them only if they were bitten by the GrumpyBug first and "we're not grumpy yet." I'm still trying to convince them that the TidyBug is in the house and needs help cleaning their room. Thank you, Jeffrey, for a delightful story and fun, new characters to weave into our family life.

While working in education, it is refreshing to be able to explain different feelings as well as family types. I hope to see more books published by this writer. It's funny, cute and creative.
