My friend’s son (age 6) particularly liked the structure of the book, with each page finishing with the same phrases. This made the book easy to absorb for my friend’s son, as he found it enjoyable and clear.As an adult, it was great to see positive affirmations are included: I’m a clever person, I’m a giver, I’m a positive person, I care how others feel. Statements in the book like these can resonate with the children reading it, stimulating more positive outlooks and values in them. We had some fun with these and repeated them with my friend’s son whilst standing up with a superman fist to the sky. My friend’s son really enjoyed the book and appreciated the importance of being nice. As such, I would definitely recommend this book.

As someone who has dealt with eating issues, I want to be careful not to pass them to my kinds. I'm not sure how I feel about some of the words in the poem, but it is a sweet poem about a little girl being cheered by a flower.
