About the Author Diahann Darwood is an educator who resides in Rockland County, NY with her math teacher husband, two Olympic ready children, and a lawn that apparently disagrees with the color green. Her eldest son, 28, lives and owns a bakery in Brooklyn, NY. Before Diahann began teaching, she worked as a data entry person. Diahann has been a parent since 1986 and an educator since 1999; therefore she enjoys an occasional glass of cheap wine.
