About the Author
Justin Ortega is an eighteen-year-old, first-time author. A triplet, he lives with his family in Harvey, Louisiana, where he has recently graduated at a Salesian Catholic high school. In addition to all other service works Ortega participates in, Ortega is also the recipient of the Outstanding Youth Award by the archbishop of New Orleans for excellent leadership and service in his community.
Throughout his youth, Ortega has experienced several personal encounters with Christ through adoration, prayer, and mass. While he does not claim to be an expert in faith, he is eager to share what he knows and pass on the good news to any who care to listen.

Provides good advice and a different perspective! Truly a good book, can't wait for the next one in the series!! Definitely would reccomend to a friend!

A wonderful read for any Catholic, especially teenage Catholics, who are looking for something to give them a reason to have Faith. Transformed by Faith brings to light the many different ways in which faith affects our daily lives, and how by accepting this great gift of faith that is offered to us by God our lives can be changed and we can realize how to trust in God and know that He is caring for us. This book emphasizes the fact that you don't have to be able to see something to believe in it. And I think that is wonderful. As a teenage and Catholic author myself, I know how much courage and strength it took for Justin to pursue writing this and publishing it himself - Bravo, Justin! May you continue to do great things and spread the Truth with all you meet.

The author writes on a level that is mature enough to be taken seriously but also relaxed enough for teenagers to relate to. His style of explanation and comparison were very appealing to me and they showed his genuine interest and care for his faith as a teenager in today's society. He published an overall outstanding book that I'd recommend to any teen or young adult from middle school all the way into college who is struggling with their faith or simply wants to reaffirm the strong faith they already possess. I am very thankful this author had the courage and dedication to share this book with the world. Great job!!P.S. the cover art is great. Compliments to the designer!
